Benamor Golf Course - A challenging and delightful course.

    Located within easy reach of the historic city of Tavira, the course was completed in early 2000 and designed according to a plan by Sir Henry Cotton.

With a length of 5,497m, the course has 18 holes of varying complexity. The contours of the land have been cleverly incorporated into the design in a manner requiring the utmost care and precision on approach and tee shots.

Do not be fooled by the gentle start (three short par-4s and one par 3). Many players like to recount how they played the fiendish par-3 tenth and how many balls they lost in the water!

It is a challenging and thoroughly delightful course with outstanding views over the ocean to the south and the mountain ranges to the north. There is a chipping green and driving range as well as pro-shop, restaurant and bar.
